Cancellation Policy All cancellations requests received in writing before July 10 will be issued a full refund less $50 processing fee. A 50% processing fee will be deducted from cancellations thereafter. Cancellations of registration must be in writing. Any course is subject to cancellation by the SEOC.
Liability The SEOC claims no liability for the acts of any supplier or speaker at this meeting or for the safety of any attendee while in transit to, from, or during this meeting. Attendees who purchase non-refundable airline tickets do so at their own risk. The SEOC reserves the right to cancel this function without penalty. The total amount of liability to the Conference will be limited to a refund of fees paid by the attendee.
Workshop Policy Workshops provide an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning and in-depth tutorials on the latest techniques, products and technology in opticianry. However, class size is limited. Therefore, registration is on a first paid basis. On-site registration will be allowed if space is available.
Registration Fee The registration fee includes access to coffee breaks and the Annual Luncheon & Auction. Additional luncheon tickets may be purchased on-site.
Continuing Education Certificates Unless otherwise indicated, all courses have been approved by the American Board of Opticianry (ABO) and /or the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE). One ABO or NCLE continuing education credit (CEC) is earned for each 50 minutes of instruction. To receive a CEC for a session, you must be in the classroom during the entire instruction period required. CEC’s are provided during the first ten minutes of the session hour (no certificates will be provided after this time). If you leave the room any time during the course, the room monitor must hold your certificate until you return. If you have not attended the required course time, you will have to forfeit your CEC for that time. Please be aware of your own state’s requirements concerning the types of courses that are acceptable for your license renewal. All CEC’s must be signed by the participant and the evaluation completed prior to validation. Certificates must be validated by the monitor at the end of the session. Lost or misplaced certificates cannot be replaced. |
